Reaching & Educating At-risk Children

Promoting Girls’ Education

It is widely acknowledged that achieving Universal Elementary Education (UEE) will be impossible unless concerted efforts are made to reach out to the girl child. Though major gains have been recorded in enrolment and retention of girls over the years, 60 percent of out-of-school children in the country are girls.

REACH India will fund NGOs who propose strategies aimed at closing the gender gap.
