Capacity Building partners

To ensure that capacity building efforts are funnelled down to the grassroots, REACH India has supported several large, experienced NGOs to mentor and support smaller NGOs. Capacity Building partner NGOs are expected to transfer their knowledge and skills to sub-grantee NGOs using a variety of techniques (training, exposure visits, exchange visits etc) in a variety of areas including pedagogy, material development, proposal writing and documentation, fundraising, financial management, recruiting of volunteers and staff etc

A key component of the REACH India project is assisting partner NGOs to ensure that educational interventions are effective, meaningful and sustainable. Keeping this in mind, training workshops in performance monitoring, financial management, educational quality, organizational development and dissemination planning are being held. The Project has also developed assessment tools in the various areas, and information from these will guide our technical assistance activities during the project period.
